Dr Mark Griffin is the Chair of the IIBA SIG for Business Analytics. He is the Director of the Australian Development Agency for Statistics and Information Systems, a member of the Executive Committee for the Statistical Society of Australia, and holds an adjunct appointment at the University of Queensland. Qualified as both a statistician and computer engineer, he is well-versed in the similarities and apparent conflicts between these disciplines.
RAMANPAL SINGH ANAND
Ramanpal is working as Senior Business Manager in Business Consulting division of HCL Technologies and has 14 years of consulting experience. His primary skill is to recommend industry best practices to his customers, help them define their multi year IT roadmap & leverage analytics at strategic & operational level to measure performance. He architected CRM, Supply chain, loyalty management systems and built solutions that leveraged historic & contextual data to offer real time promotions. He worked extensively on data analysis, visualization, dashboards & process consulting in Denmark, Australia, UK, US & holds Bachelor of Technology from Punjab Technical University, India.
Mr. Oludayo Awe is an Engineering graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in Osun State of Nigeria and is the System Architect of The OS Concepts Consulting (based in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria) where his job roles include Business Process Development, Business Process Management, Business Process Improvement and Re-engineering, Business Analysis and Project Management. He is also the President of International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Nigeria Chapter and sits on the board of the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region of IIBA.
Melanie Lee, CBAP, is a Consultant at CGI Group, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, USA. She is an experienced Business Analyst, having worked for companies such as UPS, SunTrust Bank, AT&T, and Siebel Systems, on a wide range of project types from data integration, mobile and credit card payments, CRM support systems, and business analytics. She received her MS in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University and has an undergraduate degree in Statistics and an Actuarial Certificate from University of Florida. Prior to finding her Business Analyst career path, Melanie was an Actuarial Analyst at Mercer and Assurant, which she now recognizes to be a unique and specialized business analytics role.
Ginny is currently working as a Senior Business Analyst at InfoImage Menlo Park, CA. She has experience driving software projects from concept to delivery across various industries, evaluating products and solutions for organizations, implementing projects for data and application conversions for financial institutes, and providing data-driven insights to drive informational changes in result-oriented environments. She is technically savvy with a programming background and a tremendous understanding of business processes.
Ginny is the current President of the IIBA Bay Area Chapter and has been involved with the organization for the past four years. She has a degree as a Business Certified Project Manager from New York University and holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certificate from Scrum Alliance.
Ginny is a collaborative team player as well as a self-driven thought leader. She loves to travel, hike, dance, listen to music and play with her furry friend—Milo. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor and practices mindful living, yoga and meditation in her daily life. She volunteers by providing various services to homeless shelters in the South Bay area. She is actively involved in the community to bring joy and happiness.
Mohamed is working as a Lead Business Analyst in e-finance, with more than a decade of business analysis experience in various domains from government to public and private sector. He has led mega and national initiatives in government digitalization, e-payment solutions, data science, data analytics and visualization, product development, business process excellence, start-ups and fintech coaching and mentorship.

Markus is currently an ASG Consultant with more than 8 years in Business Analysis and Data Analytics combined. He was worked at the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Minor DKL Food Group, and most recently Domino's Pizza Enterprise, on projects through the exploitation of skills in requirements analysis, business process improvement, data analysis, data visualization and business insights.
Markus held the Marketing Coordinator role for 3.5 years at the IIBA Brisbane branch and has extended the organic reach through the introduction of Twitter and LinkedIn Strategy to increase engagement.
